The late Holy Father, John Paul II, called the worldwide church to a new evangelization, so this effort is for today’s and tomorrow’s Catholics. In Northeastern Wisconsin, this is expected to take shape by helping people grow in the Catholic experience and by contacting people who, for one reason or another, have lost contact with the Church.
Also, opportunities such as weekend or weeklong spiritual retreats will be identified and made available to parishioners who are already active in the Church and are looking for deeper meaning in life through the Church.
In the traditional sense of evangelization, a particular effort will be made to welcome new members into the Church.
